Best Motorcycle Levers Brands

There are many reasons why bikers decide to fit aftermarket motorcycle levers to their machine. Sometimes it’s for simple aesthetic reasons by using slick-designed levers in colours that accent their ride. Some choose to fit them for better hand placement and control to enhance the way they ride. In other cases, it’s to replace a damaged OEM brake or clutch lever, and rather than replacing with stock, they want something a bit different.

Whatever your reasons for wanting to fit new motorcycle levers, it’s best to choose a reputable brand that is known for its incredible aftermarket motorcycle levers.

ASV Levers

ASV Levers

One of the most expensive replacement motorcycle levers are American-made ASV levers but for good reason.

Easy to fit in just 10 minutes for each lever, the ASV motorcycle levers offer an unparalleled range of adjustability to fit different reach for the ultimate in comfort and feel. The C5 series features a micro-indexing dial reach adjuster with 180 increments, offering precision adjustment to fit your hand size.

Sold as singles, you can choose from regular or short levers (1-1/4″  shorter than regular size) or perhaps use a mix of both! (Many people seem to like a regular clutch lever and short brake lever but the choice is yours).

The beauty of ASV levers is that if you happen to drop or crash your bike, these motorcycle levers won’t snap. Instead, they’re designed with a special pivot to fold outwards, out of the way, and spring back. It’s actually part of their guarantee that they’re designed not to break and they’ll repair or replace the lever if they do if your levers are within warranty. The guarantee length depends on which model of ASV levers you purchase. The C5 model comes with a 5 year warranty, for instance.

The levers are available in a range of colours, including black, silver and gold, but some stockists also sell different coloured dial adjusters so you can add a flash of colour to really make the levers pop.

Bad Dog Lever

Bad Dog Levers

Available for a range of motorcycle models, Bad Dog Performance’s brake and clutch levers are direct replacements for your standard levers, with a choice of regular and short length levers. At a cheaper price point that ASV, they’re a more affordable alternative yet are still made to the highest quality from billet alloy with a hard anodised finish.

If you’ve ever dropped your bike and damaged the lever, you’ll know what a pain it can be. With these levers, they’re designed to snap off at the end if they’re dropped so you can still use the lever to get to where you need to go. Important if you happen to have a minor slip and need to get home or to the nearest garage.

With a 6-stage adjuster, the levers can be moved to a comfortable position to offer the best control for the rider.

Unlike ASV, however, Bad Dog motorcycle levers are only available in black with a red adjuster so are more suited for you riders out there looking for a subtle modification.

Make sure to note that the levers are sold separately and do not come as a pair.

Pazzo Levers

If putting a splash of funky colour into your ride is at the top of your list, then you simply have to check out Pazzo motorcycle levers.

The Canadian brand make the levers in-house and are available in colours such as Blue, Burgundy, Gold, Green, Navy, Red, Silver, Titanium, White and Black. That’s before we’ve even got onto the colour of the adjusters that also come in purple and orange!

The Pazzo levers are priced and sold separately but some stockists also sell them as a pair, so you can choose whether you want the same length levers (long (regular) or short) or whether you’d prefer to mix them.

The brake and clutch levers come with a 6-stage adjuster to alter the position of the lever, similar to the Bad Dog Levers.
